Oreo's to Organic

Hey guys!!!! I am so excited to finally start sharing a whole new side to my life, with yall! As many of you know I can not eat ANY gluten for health purposes, so Ive had to get creative with my diet. I absolutely love healthy organic food and I am so excited to share some recipes with yall and hopefully make tutorials soon! For those of you that are like me you dont want to have to give up sweet things to be healthy, and you dont have to! There are plenty of AMAZING recipes! I am going to start posting more of my food and different recipes I like.  I LOVE CHOCOLATE AND COCONUT!!!!!!!!! Here is one recipe that I might do a tutorial on later:) I have yet to try it so comment below if you like it!

Vegan Chocolate Coconut Cream Pie

This is a comforting and fun vegan dessert.
2 cups non-dairy chocolate chips
1/2 cup vanilla non-dairy creamer
1 1/2 cups shredded unsweetened coconut
FOR THE FILLING:
1 pound (16 ounces) silken tofu, firm
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon coconut extract
2 cups non-dairy chocolate chips, melted
1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

1. Coat 9-inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray. Heat non-dairy creamer in a small pan until hot, but not boiling. Add chocolate chips slowly and stir until melted, keeping heat on low. Stir in coconut. Pour into prepared pie plate, smooth out, and refrigerate until shell is hardened.

2. While shell is in the refrigerator, prepare the filling. Place tofu in a food processor and blend until smooth, scraping down sides of bowl as necessary. Add sugar and coconut extract.

3. Melt chocolate chips in microwave or double boiler. Pour melted chocolate into food processor and process until combined. Stir coconut in by hand. Pour into prepared pie shell. Sprinkle with more coconut if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve (at least 8 hours is best for it to hold its shape.)

Serves 6-8

Well hello there! I hope everyone is having an AMAZING friday night :) I for one, have greatly been enjoying mine. My friday night has consisted of cute little laughs, goodnight kisses and prayers, Disney movies, gluten free pizza, cuddle time, tickles, and sweet little hugs. For those of you who do not know, I am a nanny:) I absolutely LOVE my job:) There is nothing I love more then spending time with little kids:) Tonight however, I am just babysitting :) I honestly believe, next to being a mommy of my own babies, that being a nanny is the BEST job in the WORLD! I love when I walk in the door in the morning or afternoon to see little kids running to be shouting, "Miss Cherry! Miss Cherry!!!." Just seeing their sweet little smiles fills my heart with joy<3 I am so blessed to be able to spend hours and hours doing what I love, while being paid for it!!!!! But just like any jobs youre not always going to have amazing days. Ive had some days where there is just so much to do and they all seem to need me ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! But even despite those accidents, tantrums, arguments , headaches, and sore muscles, I still absolutely love my job!!!! All those frustrating moments are worth it, when you tuck them in at night and they say, "I wove you Miss Cherry." I know this is going to sound cheesy and a bit corny, but it makes me tear up when they say they love me.  Sometimes I get a little stressed, because I want to be a good example to all the little kiddos looking up to me. I usually spend at least 30 hours with them a week so of course they get attached to me. Even though that part of my job is stressful, I have come to realize what a blessing it really is. With all those little kids looking up to me it helps me be the person I want to be and focus on what is important.

I remember one day, the parents I worked for had asked me, "How many kids do you want, when you get married?' I am a really honest person so of course I told the, "I would like to have seven:)" Months later, after I had been working for them for months, they asked me again, "How many kids do you want, when you get married?" To which I replied, "I would like to have seven children:)" They had looked a little shocked that my answer hadnt changed in all the months I was only watching three kids at once. They had asked me, "Why hasnt it changed? You still want seven, even after seeing how much of a handful three can be?" Again I must remind you, I am EXTREMELY honest! "Well I love children and I want to have maybe four of my own children, but then I want to adopt three children and be their momma:)"

I know I probably sound like a crazy lady wanting that many children, but think of all the children in the world that need moms and dads. Could you look an orphan in the eye and simply walk away, without your heart breaking into a million pieces? Personally, even when I was in the Dominican Republic and I saw children that needed help I couldnt take it. I had multiple times, where I couldnt hold back tears no matter how hard I tried. I RARELY cry. I do not think there is anything wrong with crying, but I have just never really cried a lot (except when I was little and pretended to cry). All that being said, think what you will about me. I might be crazy, but thats ok :) I can not wait to be given the blessing of having my own child<3 But for now I shall remain..."Miss Cherry."

Passion For Fashion

I decided that I am going to do monthly favorites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D SUPER EXCITED ABOUT IT! So here are my August favorites:D
This week I have found myself being ask, "How is school?". Ok... First one thing you should know about me is that I am NOT one of those people who enjoys school. I like going to classes once a week and hanging out with friends, but the school part just doesnt appeal to me. School is going well (For those of you that wanted to know). Just to clear up any confusion, I am homeschooled. I KNOW WHAT YOURE THINKING!!!! OMGOSH IS SHE AMISH? DOES SHE HAVE FRIEND? Ha believe it or not Ive had people ask me if I had friends before :p Ha Just because I am homeschooled doesnt mean I am not normal and do not have a normal life. My life is just different from the average female teen. I wear normal/modern clothes. I own a smart phone. I have a laptop (Duh cause I am writing this post!). To be honest... My mom doesnt even teach me anymore. I go to an advanced program once a week and my teacher there gives me work to do during the week. Although I do have a lot of work, I manage to still have time to shop, bake, work, hang with family, chill with friends, and study my passions<3 Some of my biggest passions are photography, music, acting, singing, fashion, makeup, hair, interior design, business marketing, and any and all art<3 I'm so excited to get to share that with all of my viewers<3 Another thing I love is giving advice:) Although I may not be perfect, I like helping other people with their problems:) If you ever need advice... EMAIL ME AT sissy90210@aol.com and put the subject as URGENT! I love you all so much and hope I am being a help<3

Wow. I just realized my last post was in May!!! I AM SO SORRY!!!! Life has been really crazy this summer. I had my sweet sixteen, went to the Keys for two weeks, went to the Dominican Republic for two weeks, worked, studied, and recently became gluten free. By recently I mean today hahaha!!! While I was in the Dominican Republic, I had eaten extremely healthy, but when I came home and started eating normal foods I got a lot of joint pains. I had had them before I left for the Dominican Republic as well. I havent been tested or anything, but it doesnt take a genius to put two and two together! So no more gluten for this girl!!! D: One positive thing about this is that I will be a lot healthier and hopefully will not have a ton of pain in my joints!!!:D I will hopefully be doing daily updates as well as finally kicking off my vlog!!!! So excited for all that is coming up:) Have an amazing weekend<3

Lots of love,

Judgment Vs. First Impression

I had been talking to one of my friends about the difference between judgment Vs. first impressions. What's the difference? When someone walks in the room and you look at them and make assumptions based on their appearance, that is judgment. But say you see that person and decide to go to talk to them and after that short period of time you come up with your opinion of that persons personality and a general knowledge of what that person is about. I can tell you from a personal experience I have been on both sides of that more then once. I have been the one judging and the one being judged. I have also been the one making the decision to get to know people and have had people in turn do the same with me. If you have been the one being judged, you know how hurtful that really is. Because it is in our human nature to do so, we must be purposeful in our daily decision to not do that. I have had people that have made judgments about me purely based on how I look. IT HURTS. Just because someone likes fashion and makeup does not mean necessarily that they have no depth, and how can you really figure that out until you actually try to get to know them?  If you have been judged, I challenge you to not only forgive those people, but to also try and get to know them. And if your on the other end and tend to make judgments of others I challenge you to get to know that person before making any judgments about their personality or character:)

Life update:)

Hey guys! Some of you may know that I'm going on a mission trip this summer, but for those of you that don't or wish to know more I encourage you to click the link below or go to my Facebook fan page to learn more:) This journey began about four years ago. I had signed up to go to the Dominican Republic with my old church, but because I was the only one that signed up I was not able to go :/ Ever since then I've had a heart for the Dominican Republic. I've always had a heart for orphans and I'm thrilled that I get to work with orphans in July!!!!  I leave July 16 and return home the 28th! I would really appreciate your prayers! God has blessed me so much by giving me opportunities to earn the money for the trip:) I still have a little ways to go and I'm hoping to not only raise enough for me to go, but to also support one of my best friends and help her pay for the rest of her trip. If you are feeling led to give there will be a link below where you may do so. When you click the link there will be a large green donate button on the side. If your just interested in knowing everything we will be doing and any extra details about the trip, it will be on that site as well:) Thank you guys for all your support! Can't wait to share all the amazing things that are gonna happen before, after, and during the trip<3 Love each and every one of you!

                                                             Lots of love and hugs,

SPRING!

When you think of spring what is the first thing that comes to mind? Because I live in Florida I think of bright flowers and color everywhere, which is translated into my outfits. Think of spring as your time to try bolder looks and break free from boring dull clothing!!! I LOVE FLORAL! Most of my dresses that I have I have gotten from Goodwill:) I know a lot of people are uncomfortable buying clothes that have had a previous owner, but if you aren't you need to check one out!!! They have a lot of cute stuff, but you need to know how to find the stuff and what to put it with to make it look cute. Here are a few pictures of my fav spring looks:)

My favorite summer looks:)

I absolutely love wearing bright colored maxi skirts, floral dresses, crazy colored shorts, and cute little skirts:) I love stripes, polka dots, and florals. I tend to be more adventurous with my outfits in the summer. Why? Because there are so many different occasions and thats when you can experiment with loud colors and prints:) I love wearing large wedged heels with straps:)  I tend to wear huge hats, gold jewelry, sandals or huge heels, and big bright rings:) I WEAR A LOT OF LACE AND BOWS!!! Just make sure before you go shopping you know your style, if you dont and need help ask someone that wears the kind of clothing you like and ask for help.
